Our Camp Program
We’ve developed our camp program over 20 years and 192 camps. Each camp features substantial instruction in a fun and exciting environment.
Mornings are mostly devoted to group learning, small group coaching, skill-building exercises, and one-to-one interaction with our staff. Afternoonsare mostly spent refining skills and understanding in both formal and recreational play.

Most of our campers are 6-16. Older students are welcome; over the years we've had several adults attend camp, as campers, and find the week both enjoyable and productive. Younger campers are welcome with approval of the Camp Director. Please contact Chessmaster Pete for such an approval (

Study Groups
Campers are divided into study-play groups based on their age and experience. Some of our students are state champions (we’ve trained 68 of them), and others are just figuring out how the pieces move.
We treasure each and every one of them.

Camp runs from 9:00-3:00 each day.  We also supervise free chess play each day from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-4:00 p.m.

4:00-6:00 p.m
